Welcome to The Body Refinery

On your first visit for our Physiotherapy, and Myotherapy services, your therapist will conduct an initial consultation, to identify your physical needs and discuss your goals and aspirations.

To attend our Pilates, Rehab Classes and EP Classes, you will need to have an initial assessment conducted by one of our therapists or Pilates Instructors. This consultation will allow them to design an appropriate program that suits your requirements.

All Pilates classes are taught by qualified instructors, who will ensure you follow your individual program whether in a one-on-one or group Pilates class. This ensures you perform all exercises correctly, and safely and achieve the best results. Healthcare rebates are available, with conditions (check with your health fund).

We proudly make ourselves accessible and flexible, so you can incorporate effective movement into your busy life.

What you need to know on your first visit

We structure all our classes to provide you with flexibility and accessibility, whilst keeping class sizes small to ensure we provide personalised movements and maintain the highest quality standards.

For every Pilates, Clinical Rehab, EP or fitness class at our New Farm studio, we recommend that you:

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement
  • For your own comfort, do not eat heavily at least one hour before your session
  • Bring a towel and a drink bottle
  • Please wear a pair of socks for our Clinical Rehab, Studio, Daily Reformer and Mat classes, and some runners for our EP and specialised classes.

We encourage open and honest feedback so we can keep improving our service to clients. Please provide us with your valued feedback.

Please note that our Mum and Bubs, Pregnancy Reformer, and Pre & Postnatal Strength and Conditioning Classes also require you to have an initial consultation (45 minutes by one of our physiotherapists) before you attend a class, regardless of experience.

However, no initial consultation is required for our Daily Reformer and Mat Pilates classes.

All our 5 and 10 Packs have an expiry period that starts after the first class attended from the pack. Please see reception for more details or find the information on our Terms and Conditions page.
