Power Pregnancy Classes
Power Pregnancy is a group fitness class geared towards ensuring your journey throughout gestation keeps you fit, strong, pain-free and energised.
Classes have a maximum of 4 women, however, our Exercise Physiologist will require a private, initial assessment to discuss your pregnancy journey, risks, goals and lifestyle before commencing classes.
One-on-one sessions are also available with our women’s health Exercise Physiologist – this is ideal if you are unfamiliar with a gym-based setting or if you would like an even more personalised session, where you have 100% of the Exercise Physiologist’s time.
Some of the conditions Exercise Physiologists routinely work with are:
- Gestational diabetes
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Weight management
- Psychological well-being (depression, anxiety)
- Low back and neck pain
- Pelvic floor training
We kindly ask that prior to booking your initial assessment, you are given the ‘OK’ by your GP or obstetrician to commence exercise.
Strong Mums Classes
Strong Mums is a post-natal class run specifically for mums wanting to become stronger and fitter after the birthing experience. Classes have a maximum of 4 women, however, our Exercise Physiologist will require a private, initial assessment to discuss your pregnancy journey, risks, goals and lifestyle before commencing classes.
Strong Mums promotes a safe space for mums to engage with one another to support the journey of motherhood. With supervision and programming from an Exercise Physiologist, this will ensure your postnatal fitness goals are being met in a safe environment. One-on-one sessions are also available with our women’s health Exercise Physiologist.
