Pregnancy Strength and Conditioning Classes

Pregnancy Strength and Conditioning Class is a group fitness class, utilising the equipment available at the studio to keep you strong, pain-free and energised throughout your pregnancy.

Classes have a maximum of 4 women, however, our Exercise Physiologist will require a private, initial assessment to discuss your pregnancy journey, risks, goals, and lifestyle before commencing classes.

One-on-one sessions are also available with our women’s health Exercise Physiologist – this is ideal if you are unfamiliar with Gym & Pilates equipment or if you would like an even more personalised session, where you have 100% of the Exercise Physiologist’s time.

Some of the conditions Exercise Physiologists routinely work with are:

  • Gestational diabetes
  • Hypertension (high blood pressure), pre-eclampsia
  • Weight management
  • Pre-natal psychological well-being (depression, anxiety)
  • Low back and neck pain
  • Sacroiliac discomfort
  • Pelvic floor training

We kindly ask that prior to booking your initial assessment, you are given the ‘OK’ by your GP or obstetrician to commence the exercise.

Our Pregnancy and pre/postnatal classes policy and procedure are available: here.
