Power Pregnancy is a group fitness class geared towards ensuring your journey throughout gestation keeps you fit, strong, pain-free and energised.
Classes have a maximum of 4 women, however, our Exercise Physiologist will require a private, initial assessment to discuss your pregnancy journey, risks, goals and lifestyle before commencing classes.
One-on-one sessions are also available with our women’s health Exercise Physiologist – this is ideal if you are unfamiliar with a gym-based setting or if you would like an even more personalised session, where you have 100% of the Exercise Physiologist’s time.
Some of the conditions Exercise Physiologists routinely work with are:
- Gestational diabetes
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Weight management
- Psychological well-being (depression, anxiety)
- Low back and neck pain
- Pelvic floor training
We kindly ask that prior to booking your initial assessment, you are given the ‘OK’ by your GP or obstetrician to commence exercise.
