Mat Pilates is an awesome workout! Our Mat classes are great for increasing your fitness level or just adding to your existing workout schedule.

The Mat work repertoire makes use of your body weight as the primary source of resistance. You may use small apparatus such as the magic circle, Theraband or foam roller. These, will add variety to the exercises and add an extra challenge that will leave your body wanting more.

Our experienced Pilates instructors will take you through a series of exercises that will flow seamlessly from one to the other, giving you a full body workout. Our Mat Pilates classes, with a maximum of eight participants, are suitable for all levels and abilities.

What you need to know

Mat Pilates classes are held on Monday – 5.30 and Tuesday 9.15am & 5.30pm. They are all bookable online through The Body Refinery app.

These classes, as well as our Express Reformer classes, run for 45 minutes and do not require an initial assessment.
