Age-ility is a dynamic, functional exercise class designed by Exercise Physiologists to support healthy and active ageing.  It is ideal for those wanting to live an active and fulfilling life.

With a maximum of 8 people, this class helps you move better, feel stronger, and stay confident as your body changes over time. Each session blends full-body strength, balance, mobility, and a dash of cardio into one well-rounded workout.

The Physical Benefits of Exercise:

How can the Age-illity class help you?

Age-ility is an evidence-based exercise program, so it’s based on scientifically proven results.

The class provides a foundation that can be built upon for ongoing improvement in the quality of life, which can affect the attitude with which you approach each day.

You can expect exercises that improve functional movement, build strength, improve stability, elevate your heart rate, and enhance flexibility; all delivered in a safe and supportive environment. The class operates in a circuit format, moving between different equipment and apparatus, though exercises can be modified to suit different abilities and energy levels.  The focus is on real-life movement: getting up and down with ease, improving coordination, protecting joints, and feeling confident in everyday activities.

No referral is required to join the program; however, medical clearance from your GP is recommended before commencing exercise. New participants to the studio are required to complete a 45-minute Exercise Physiology initial consultation prior to starting the class. Existing participants will only need a 30-minute review session.
