Kelcie Jessen – Physiotherapist

Kelcie is originally from Calgary, Canada, and moved to Australia to pursue a career in physiotherapy. She completed her Master of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland in 2023. Kelcie has worked across a variety of settings, including acute hospital care, aged care, and musculoskeletal private practice—the area she is most passionate about. She has a particular interest in treating climbing-related injuries and enjoys working with people who share her love for the outdoors.

Kelcie’s approach combines manual therapy techniques, such as dry needling, with tailored exercise prescriptions to achieve the best outcomes for her clients. She is also trained in clinical Pilates and incorporates this into her treatment to improve strength, control, and movement quality. Her background as a personal trainer has given her a strong foundation in injury prevention and functional movement, with experience ranging from helping athletes optimise their performance to guiding older adults in maintaining strength, mobility, and independence.

An avid adventurer herself, Kelcie enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and running, and is passionate about helping her clients return to the activities they love so they can continue exploring the world around them.
