Restorative Yoga

This class is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. Unlike a traditional yoga class, you may only do 6-8 poses. The use of props allows the body to be fully supported and experience deep relaxation.

Yoga Classes

Yoga is the union of body, mind and spirit. A holistic practise, our yoga classes interweaves pranayama (breath work), asana (yoga postures) and dhyana (meditation) to become grounded in the present moment.

Excellent for improving balance, endurance, flexibility and strength, yoga also promotes stress release and lifts energy. Delve into this class and feel the transformation for yourself!

At The Body Refinery, ancient Eastern practice meets contemporary Western movement in Rachel’s Yoga classes. This challenging and rejuvenating class integrates Polestar Pilates principles of movement with traditional yoga postures to unite and ground the body, mind and spirit.

Mindful practise cultivates deeper awareness (externally and internally) leading to a greater appreciation of each moment both on and off the mat. The perfect way to start and end your day – join a class and see the benefits for yourself!

What motivates me as a teacher is seeing my students leave feeling better than when they came in. I am passionate about cultivating holistic health and wellbeing and challenging the limitations of the body and mind from a place of loving-kindness.

Our Yoga classes run for 60 minutes to give you plenty of time for relaxation and meditation at the end of each class. These classes do not require an initial assessment.
