Pregnancy Pilates classes

Pilates is an excellent form of exercise during pregnancy because it works on the deep abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscles.

Pilates can also strengthen and stretch specific muscle groups that may be weakened and tight from the postural changes and stresses that occur during pregnancy. It is also low impact, without placing stress on the body’s joints.

At The Body Refinery, the Refined Bump class is a studio-style class taken by a Women’s Health Physiotherapist.

What you need to know

Our Pregnancy classes are 1-hour group class with a maximum of 4 participants.

These Pregnancy Pilates classes do require an initial consultation with a physiotherapist if you are new to the studio.
