Pilates is a great way to get fit and rejuvenate your body. At The Body Refinery, we understand that getting started can cause some apprehension. That is why we have put together two Beginners’ Pilates Programs that are ideal for anyone who wants to get started. You will feel comfortable and safe in our welcoming and friendly environment.
This is an 8-week program that will take you through the basics of mat Pilates. You will learn Pilates terminology, basic mat Pilates repertoire and gain confidence in your movement. Each session will leave you feeling as though you have had a great workout, along with a greater understanding of the Pilates method. The 8-week Mat Beginners’ Pilates program costs $170. Each weekly class runs for one hour.
2017 Commencement dates (Wednesday evening – 6.30pm):
The Reformer is one of the main pieces of equipment in a Pilates studio. It facilitates dynamic movement that will result in noticeable changes to your strength, flexibility and fitness levels.
The Beginners’ Pilates Reformer Program is an 8-week program that will take you through the basics of Pilates on a reformer. Throughout the 8 weeks, you will feel your body getting strong as you progress through the reformer repertoire. Once you have completed the program, you will have the confidence to join our regular Express Reformer Pilates classes. The 8-week program costs $210. Each weekly class runs for 45 minutes.
