Our Therapeutic Yoga classes are design for those seeking guidance in relaxation, mindfulness, and body awareness or to assist them to fully rehabilitate from an injury. If you do have an injury it is recommended you book in with one of our Physiotherapists for a full assessment before commencing Therapeutic Yoga so we can adjust the exercises to meet your goals.
Therapeutic Yoga can be beneficial for people who are recovering from an injury but is also ideal for anyone who prefers the guidance of a Physiotherapist to perform safe, low-impact yoga. Therapeutic Yoga classes at The Body Refinery are based around Asanas (the physical poses of yoga) which will allow clients to focus on their breath, self-awareness, and relaxation techniques.
